Typewriters are confusing
Questions tonight from a girl (old enough to be married) as she attemps to type a document on a typewriter:
How do you put the paper in?
How do you make a dash?
How do you erase? That was supposed to be 2 dots instead of a dash.
How do you make the 2 dots? [colon]
How do you type a capital letter.
[Hold down the shift key and type the letter]
At the same time?
Wow! How do you know all this? You're smart!
Later:
